Wise Budget is designed as a personal budgeting app. The app helps you record expenses and income, organize accounts and categories, create budgets, review reports, and optionally synchronize or back up your data.
1. Information We Handle
Budget data you enter
Wise Budget stores the financial information that you choose to add to the app, such as accounts, categories, subcategories, budget amounts, expenses, income entries, dates, notes, tracker values, and related settings.
Wise Budget does not require you to connect a bank account, credit card account, brokerage account, or other financial institution.
Support information
If you contact us for support, bug reports, feature requests, or privacy requests, we may receive the information you choose to send, such as your name, email address, message contents, app version, device details, screenshots, or diagnostic context.
Website information
When you visit our website, standard hosting infrastructure may process technical information such as your IP address, browser type, device type, referring page, requested URL, and request timestamps. This information is used to operate, secure, and troubleshoot the website.
We use Google Analytics on the website to understand aggregate website usage, such as page views, traffic sources, approximate geography, device information, and interactions with our pages. Google may process information through cookies or similar technologies according to Google's own policies.
Payment information
Purchases are handled by Apple through the App Store. We do not receive or store your full payment card number, payment security code, or other App Store payment credentials.

3. Storage, Sync, and Backups
Local app data
Budget data is stored on your device by the app unless you choose to use sync or export features.
iCloud sync
Wise Budget may offer iCloud synchronization. If you enable iCloud sync, your app data may be stored and synchronized through Apple's iCloud services under your Apple account. Apple's privacy terms and iCloud settings apply to that processing.
Manual backups
Wise Budget may let you export and import backup files. You are responsible for where you save, share, or store exported backup files. Anyone with access to an exported backup file may be able to access the budget information contained in that file.
5. Retention
App data stored on your device remains there until you delete it, reset the app data, remove the app, delete backups, or change your iCloud data according to Apple's tools and settings.
Support messages may be retained for as long as reasonably necessary to respond to you, maintain support history, improve the app, comply with legal obligations, or resolve disputes.
6. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information we handle. No method of electronic storage or transmission is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
7. Children
Wise Budget is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will take appropriate steps.
8. Your Choices and Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, portability, restriction, or objection related to personal information we hold about you.
You can delete or modify app data directly in the app. You can manage iCloud data through Apple's iCloud and device settings. You can delete manual backup files wherever you chose to save them.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date above. The updated policy applies once it is posted.
